We've come top in satisfaction survey

We've come top in a national customer satisfaction survey published by NOMS last week. Almost 87 per cent of service users said they had a positive experience of engagement with the CRC.
The survey, which was carried out over a two-week period by 21 CRCs and 8 NPS divisions in England and Wales, involved questioning a range of service users who answered anonymously and without interference from staff.
Across the two counties, 592 completed surveys were collected. Questions included whether service users felt their probation officer had worked well with them and if their time on probation had made them less likely to offend.
Penny Barker, Chief Executive of the CRC, says: ‘What’s particularly satisfying about this result is that it has come from the service users themselves. This shows that the majority of people we work with think we are doing a good job. It is a considerable achievement, especially now when the probation service is going through a period of unprecedented change. I am proud of the hard work our skilled and dedicated staff do on a daily basis to help people stop re-offending and re-build their lives.’
